About me

Hi, I'm Amy.

I'm an Adelaide-based photographer passionate about travel, landscape and nightscape photography. I've been lucky enough to explore and capture both my state and around the world.

I became interested in photography in high school; I borrowed my dad’s Olympus OM10, fitted with a 50mm f/1.8 MF Zuiko lens, and shot everything that I could. I had no idea what I was doing (…it showed) but I loved it.

I’ve been fortunate to travel to over 20 countries, predominantly through Asia, Europe and some of America, shooting on a variety of cameras. However, it wasn’t until 2017 that I bought my first 'real' camera, an Olympus OM-D E-M1, travelled to South Africa and found my passion for photography. In 2020, I fell in love with astrophotography (nightscapes) and researched everything that I could find on the topic. I’ve continued to upskill myself on camera systems (check out the gear that I use), photographic techniques and new ways to capture landscapes and the night sky.
